A Message from the APIPA 2025 Chairwoman
It is my pleasure to extend a warm Hafa Adai, Tirow Wóómi, and welcome to the 36th Annual Association of Pacific Islands Public Auditors (APIPA) Conference.
The theme for this year’s conference, "Building Cultures of Accountability," underscores our collective dedication to enhancing governance, transparency, and integrity throughout the Pacific region. The conference will provide participants with opportunities to engage in interactive sessions that focus on audit, accounting, finance, ethics, investigations and emerging issues. The sessions are designed to enhance professional skills and promote accountability in public service. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to earn 40 Continuing Professional Education credits towards professional development and excellence.
We sincerely appreciate the United States Department of the Interior, Office of Insular Affairs, and the Graduate School USA for their invaluable support, which has been instrumental in making this and prior conferences successful. Their commitment to building capacity, networking with peers, and promoting professional development skills within our region plays a significant role in strengthening public financial management and accountability.
We anticipate an enriching and collaborative week. Our goal is to have a meaningful, impactful, and successful experience for all participating professionals.
Thank you, Si Yu’os Ma’åse, and Olomway,

Dora I. Deleon Guerroro, CPA
